A message pack is a one-off purchase of 10,000 extra messages for €20, for personal and team accounts. Packs kick in after your monthly quota runs out, and quotas reset on the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC. Buy a message pack whenever you need one.
Questions and answers
What counts as a message?
Every recipient of every send. A message to one person counts as one, and a message to a group of 20 counts as 20. Emergency repeats and attachments don't count extra.
What happens when I reach my limit?
The API answers with HTTP 429 until your quota resets on the 1st at 00:00 UTC. Upgrade or buy a message pack and sending picks up again once the payment goes through.
What's included in Free?
Everything except team features: end-to-end encryption, emergency alerts with receipts, groups, subscriptions, the email gateway, 5 MB attachments and 30 days of history. Free stops at 10,000 messages a month and 10 devices.
Do I need a credit card?
No. Sign in with Google and use the Free plan for as long as you like.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your paid plan from the billing page whenever you want.
Why is it free on every device?
PushPiper delivers through an app you install from your browser, so there's no app store license to pay for. Pushover charges $4.99 per platform after its 30-day trial.
How do devices work on a team?
Everyone joins with their own PushPiper account and devices. Team apps reach every member's devices, and team sends count against the shared 25,000 messages.
How does the Team trial work?
Your team gets 30 days free. After that you pay per user, and people you add mid-cycle are prorated.
How are payments and VAT handled?
Prices are in euros and include VAT. Stripe processes payments as our merchant of record.
